The Best Way To Clean Pee Out Of A Mattress


The bed mattress can easily be stained especially if you have small children, animals, or just you are used to eat in bed. Small accidents can happen, and these accidents can be very hard to remove sometimes. But use with confidence the following natural ingredients to remove any difficult stain from your mattress.

If you spilled coffee, water or any other liquid on the mattress, the first step is to sprinkle over the stain baking soda. It will quickly absorb the impregnated liquid between the tresses. Then remove the baking soda powder, and if is necessary, repeat the procedure.

Ammonia

Ammonia is one of the solutions you can call with confidence to get rid of the stains on the mattress.
Add to 1 liter of warm water a few drops of dishwashing detergent and a cup of ammonia. Mix well the solution and soak a cotton cloth or a sponge and wipe the stained surface. If the stains are old, apply the cloth soaked in the ammonia solution, and leave it for 5 minutes. Then rinse the cloth and rub the stained area very well.
Careful! If you use this technique, it is recommended to use protective gloves and open the window, not to inhale ammonia vapors.

Vinegar
Vinegar is another handy solution for many people. It is useful in removing stains and, in addition, removes odors, such as pee odor.

You need:
– 500 ml of white vinegar
– 200 ml of warm water
– 2 tablespoons of dish detergent

Mix well the solution and soak a sponge or a cloth in it. Start cleaning the spot by rubbing it very well. Finally, wipe the mattress with a clean cotton cloth that absorbs the excess liquid. Open the windows and ventilate the room, letting fresh air to penetrate into the room and allow the mattress to dry faster.
