Use Natural Products to Remove Stains Out of your Clothes


How much you’re spending in one week on cleaning products? Probably you’re buying bleacher, detergent and odor removal or products to soften your clothes. But you can get the same results using a few natural ingredients: vinegar, lemon and baking soda. Here are some trustable allies to clean your laundry.

Laundry bleaching
The most used chemical for clothes bleaching is chlorine. Besides that these products are very toxic to the environment, they thin textile fibers. It’s true that they remove stains and whiten laundry, but in time the clothes will break.
But if you’re use baking soda, lemon or even hydrogen peroxide, you won’t face these disadvantages. So make a paste with baking soda and lemon and use it instead of bleacher.

1. Bleaching curtains
Kitchen curtains are full of smoke and grease. If you want to wash them, put them in hot water and add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and leave them to soak until the water cools. Then wash them normally and you’ll see they will look flawless in the end.

2. Tablecloths bleaching
This method is very simple and similar to the previous. Put the tablecloths in hot water and add hydrogen peroxide on the stained areas. It will clean easily and the material will remain impeccably.

3. Bleaching clothes
You have to dilute 1 tablespoon of baking soda in a glass of water and pour the solution over them. Then wash the clothes normally in the washing machine. It’s important to dilute first the baking soda because it may damage the textile. You can also use lemon juice.

Odors removal
I’m sure it happened to you at same point to pull clothes from the washing machine and notice that some shirts still have smelly armpits. How can you avoid this? Very simple. Here are three useful methods:

1.Dissolve half a teaspoon of baking soda in a half glass of water. Mix well and apply the paste on the armpits area. Then you can put clothes in the washing machine as usual.

2.White vinegar. Put half a cup of white vinegar mixed with half a glass of water in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture on the armpits area and leave it to act for 10 minutes then wash normally.

3.Lemon juice. You probably already know this trick. Lemon juice is another natural ingredient that neutralizes the sweat smell from clothes. Mix the juice of half of lemon with an equal amount of water. Then, with a cloth or sponge, apply the solution on the smelly areas. Leave it to act for 10 minutes then put the clothes in the washing machine.

Simple tricks to get rid of stains

1. Oil stains
If you have oily stains on your favorite blouse, apply talcum powder on those spots. Leave it like this for a day then put them in the washing machine.

2. Chewing gum stuck to clothes
In this case we have 2 tricks. First sounds a bit strange: put the damaged clothing in the refrigerator. The chewing gum will be strengthened and will be very easy to remove. The second method is the most popular. All you have to do is to apply some gasoline. The gum will remove easier this way.

3. Makeup stains
Sometimes it happens to stains your shirt with lipstick or foundation. How you can permanently remove these stains? Very simple. Apply a mixture of equal parts water and vinegar. Let it act for half an hour then wash it normally.

4. Blood stains
Blood stains are usually more difficult to remove. A simple trick is to use hydrogen peroxide. Pour a small amount on the stain and let it act for half an hour. Then put the clothes in the washing machine. The stain will disappear.
