Get rid of stains
If the mattress was stained with blood or urine, you need an organic detergent to break down proteins or uric acid in the fabric. Don’t use hot water to remove organic stains because high temperature pushes dirt deeply into the fabric.

Mix 1 part of cold water with 2 parts of baking soda and dab the stain area. After rinsing the area, dry well with a hairdryer to make sure the mattress isn’t moisten. Also, you can mix vinegar with baking soda to remove urine stains out of your mattress. But you have to vent well the room to get rid of pungent smell.
