How to remove rust in 5 natural ways


Pipes rust or from radiators installation can be a problem because if pipes broke they can give you a great headache. But here we find out a few tricks to clean your pipes easily.

Lime and salt

Baking soda

Potatoes and dishwashing detergent
Cut a potato in half and pour dishwashing detergent over it. These substances will make a chemical reaction that cleans rust. Leave the potato slices with dishwashing detergent a few hours over the rust stains then clean the area with water and a soft brush.

Get rid of rust from ceramics and enamels
Sometimes the tub or sink can get very unsightly rust stains. Make a paste with borax and lemon juice then scrub the rust stains with a pumice stone or a rough brush.

Rust from tools
Maybe you pliers, patent or other tools from your warehouse are full of rust. Put these tools in a pot with lid filled with molasses. Let them soak overnight then clean the rust with a brass wire brush. Remove the oil with a cloth and ready, you can use the tools again.
