4 natural ways to remove limescale from your faucets


Are your faucets full of limescale hard to remove? Well, you don’t have to spend lots of money on chemicals to make them shine. Here are some natural remedies to get rid of limescale out of your faucets.

You can squeeze the juice from half a lemon in a glass. Soak a sponge in the lemon juice and rub gently the faucet surface and leave to act for 5 minutes then rinse.

Also, you can boil 250 ml of white vinegar with 5 tablespoons of water then soaked a sponge in this mixture and wipe the faucets. Let it act for 10 minutes then rinse.

Another option is to prepare a mixture of 3 parts of baking soda to 1 part of warm water. Apply the paste on a cloth and rub then rinse with clean water.

If you want to clean and disinfect at the same time prepare a mixture of white vinegar, rubbing alcohol and water in equal proportions. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and sprinkle on the faucets then rub with a sponge.
